Reporting a mistake

Please include the page and the date, with a link to the gov.za notice or Government Gazette if you have one.

What we cannot help with

We cannot give legal advice, settle leave or pay disputes, or speak for a school or the Department of Basic Education. For workplace disputes contact the Department of Employment and Labour or the CCMA; for school dates, contact the school or your provincial education department.

Suggesting a tool or a change

Tell us the question you were trying to answer and where you got stuck. We build tools that many South African households need and that we can base on an official source, such as an Act, a regulation, a gazette or a published tariff, so a link to that source helps.

Your privacy when you email us

We use your email only to reply to you and delete it when it is no longer needed. We do not add you to a mailing list. Please do not send ID numbers, payslips, bank statements or other documents with personal information: describe the figures instead. See the privacy policy for more.
